WiFi Positioning requires a lot of work on the location map. It is mainly oriented to low-precision scenes, such as the positioning of scenic spots, large shopping malls, shopping malls, entertainment venues, WiFi attendance of the company’s employees, WiFi sign in, and Exhibition positioning. Some of them are also used for coal mining positioning after transformation. RFID indoor positioning
1) RFID positioning advantages
The advantage of RFID positioning is that the cost is very low. The cost of RFID tags is divided into units, so they can be deployed on a large scale; RFID provides two schemes: active and passive. The passive scheme has no power supply problem. The active scheme can also achieve very low power consumption and can use button batteries for several years of standby; RFID base station equipment is relatively rich, and there are many high-power equipment and low-power card readers, which are suitable for networking in various occasions.
2) Disadvantages of RFID
It needs to meet the same accuracy requirements. Compared with UWB positioning, the deployment of RFID base stations or readers is relatively complex and has a large number.
3) RFID positioning application scenarios
RFID equipment is relatively stable, so it is widely used in the positioning field. Because the price of RFID positioning terminal and RFID tag is very low, it can be used on a large scale. It has mature applications and good prospects in logistics sorting, prison positioning, battery car positioning, automobile electronic license plate positioning, etc.
UWB indoor positioning
1) UWB advantages
At the same time, it has the dual advantages of real-time positioning and precise positioning. The positioning delay time is far less than that of Bluetooth positioning, WiFi Positioning and other indoor positioning technologies. The accuracy can reach about 10cm, which is the first choice for indoor high-precision positioning. And it has the advantages of high dynamic, high capacity and low power consumption.
2) UWB positioning application scenario
It is mainly for some special industries that have high requirements for real-time process or precise positioning, such as prison positioning, factory positioning, football training positioning, logistics forklift positioning, tunnel positioning, petrochemical positioning, power energy positioning, etc.
